The meeting was well attended with eighteen members turning out on a miserable wet evening.
We were entertained with some members showing their own mini presentations of photos, (and in one case a video piece,) and all went down very well with everybody.
Thank's must go to Melissa Holmes who expertly operated the club's Windows 8 laptop throughout the evening.
The judging of the "Photo Slot", which this month's theme was "Black and White" was taken care of by Alan Kitchen, and after his choice of winners he commented on all the photos judged. The winners were:- 1st. "Lanzarote Lamp" by Richard Cecil-Purvis. 2nd. "Day's End" by John Tyson. 3rd. "Cavern of Light" by Joanna Blackburn. Highly Commended. "Beverley Minster" by Ken Jacobs.
Next month we hope to have as our speaker, local historian, Steve Stubbins who will be showing pictures of old views around this area and Barton. The "Photo Slot" theme will be "An Amusing Photo".
